About Wolter’s Shoreview Supper Club
Wolter’s Shoreview Supper Club is part of a property with approximately a century of history in the Amery and Pike Lake area. Over the years, the property has served the community under several names and uses, including as a resort and church camp, before returning to resort use in 1971.
Many longtime residents and visitors remember the property as Bungalow Beach, a popular destination during the 1920s and 1930s. Those memories remain an important part of Shoreview’s local history.
The original lodge was destroyed by fire in 1962, and much of the early written history was lost with it. Historic photographs, stories and memorabilia connected to the property are always appreciated.
A log cabin that once stood on the point is believed to have been the original homestead residence. The present lodge was built on the original site in 1962.
Today, Wolter’s Shoreview Supper Club continues the property’s long tradition of welcoming the public with Wisconsin supper club dining, friendly hospitality and a beautiful setting near Pike Lake.
We appreciate everyone who visits Shoreview and helps keep this local tradition going for the next generation.
